Ohio – The attorney general certified the ballot initiative that, if passed, would increase the state minimum wage to $13/hr by 2025. After 2025, future increases would be tied to inflation. Virginia – Multiple minimum wage bills are advancing through the state legislature. This week a house committee advanced legislation to raise the minimum wage to $15/hr by 2025 and increase the tip wage to 70% of the state minimum.
